Okay, which of the UK-Yankees had the Ranch Wraps today?  And most importantly ... will you share the recipe? ;D

It was Rebecca/Wishstar who brought them and from what I understood it was a mixture of cream cheese and ranch dressing spread on a tortilla with sliced black olives, spring onion and red peppers.  Roll them up and slice.  I'm sure she'll come along and let me know if I'm missing anything.  They were darn yummy weren't they?

Yep it was me!  :)

And Elle is right...easiest 'recipe' in the world.

2 pkgs cream cheese (I use the light one)
2 spring oninons, minced
1 pkg Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix
1/2 red pepper diced
sliced olives
8 medium flour tortillas or 4 American sized ones

Mix the cheese (helps if it is a bit soft) with the dressing mix and green onions.

Spread liberally on the tortillas, sprinkle red pepper and olives and roll tortillas tightly.  Cover with foil or plastic wrap and chill for min. 2 hours.  Slice with a sharp knife and enjoy!

Easy peasy.   ;D

editied to add - The recipe I have actually calls for diced celery as well, but I never add it as lots of people don't like it.  Does add a nice crunch to the recipe though if you want it.

I've not seen Hidden Valley ranch mix, however I've noticed more stores are now starting to sell ranch sause (usually their own brand, like Morrisons.)

No they don't sell it here, unless you go through one of the expat internet sites.  But I stock up at home and have people send me some now and then.  It's small and fits in an envelope!

Yep, that's the one!

Also makes a great veggie dip when mixed with sour cream...mmmm...mmm!  There's so many things you can do with it...coat chicken in it and bake it, potato cut into cubes and roasted, even sprinkle it into mince for amazing hamburgers.  It's the great All American Product!  :)
