I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to ALL of you who have offered help and support - it meant the world to me. "Pending references" (which I know will be more than fine) I start on 5th September!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ;D  ;D  ;D

I had pretty much decided to go home and email them. I had the woman WHO IS NOW MY BOSS write everyone's names down for me - I was totally ready. And she phoned before I got to the computer!!!!  ;D

I will indeed be near Notting Hill! Portobello Market HERE I COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's an advocacy charity - there's a thing here called PPI - Patient and Public Involvement which is meant to hold the NHS accountable for services. So I'll be co-ordinating the PPI panel for North London Mental Health - giving the patients and public a voice in mental health care.

Congrats.........Anne R.  It sounds like an amazing job! :D

I went on an interview today for a job working at a Residential Treatment Center, crossing my fingers since I am not scheduled to move to the UK until Jan 06 and desperately need a job now.  Crossing my fingers. Should know something by Friday.
