Time limit on U.S. Postal Order?

In turning out some files I've discovered a U.S. Postal Order dated 1/17/02 which it seems I never got around to sending over to my bank.  Oops!

Does anybody know if there's a time limit for deposting/cashing a U.S. postal order?

It's not one of the "international" (pink?) ones, just a regular green type, negotiable only within the U.S. & possessions.

Domestic money orders are paid regardless of the time passed since their issue. It's only $79, so I don't think I'll cry over the lack of interest.
