UK Movers?
« on: September 26, 2005, 08:34:13 AM »
I thought about posting this in the moving board, but that seemed to me more for UK-US, US-UK moves.  i'm moving from my rented flat to my new house.  they're only 1 mile from each other.  i have everything packed up, no furniture ot move, just 20-30 boxes.  the problem is I need to move out of my flat, double check its clean, and check out with my letting agency in the span of 4 hours.  I'd like to find a mover of the 'man & a van' type.  I don't need him/her to pack boxes, move furniture, etc... just pick up 30 boxes and move them one mile.  where do i find this kind of thing?  in the US (boston) i found someone on craigs list who worked out beautifully... any suggestions woudl be lovely.

You can usually find 'manandvan' ads in your local paper.   Last time we moved we used londonmanandvan.co.uk they were very good.
