I couldn't resist either!
« on: September 29, 2005, 03:25:21 AM »
A series of photos taken in a few short seconds. First he's silly, then he sees someone outside and is happy, then he's sad he isn't outside. And they aren't real tears, no need to feel bad for him. ;) Bipolar baby, anyone? :D

Great photo Cait and where did you get the hooded towel? I have been looking for those for ages and can't find any.

We bought two of them last year.  One off a market trader (pictured, a monkey), but it was a bit small.  And the other we bought at a local bath/bedding shop.  It was bigger and of better quality, and was a bumble bee.  They are nothing more than hooded beach towels so you you'll probably have better luck finding them in the spring or summer months.

PS: we did see some in Mothercare last year (hooded beach towels), but they were an arm and a leg.  The ones we bought were cheaper.

Oh I knew you would say a market stall!! I did see some on a market stall just before we left London but I didn't buy any because we were moving and I have not been able to find any since we moved to Canterbury. Never mind!

You might want to keep an eye out on eBay for something like that.

Off the market traders, I think we paid £5 and for the one in the bath shop it was nearer £10 (but longer and thicker).

Both towels have held up very well and are still kicking nearly a year and a half later.
