Today I purchased, with my very own money that I've earned, the tickets for me and my mother-in-law to go back to Indiana for Thanksgiving! I have SO missed my financial independence and ability to buy things that I've literally earned... it felt so good to buy these!!! Whee!

November 24th - December 2 - just over a week... I CAN'T WAIT!!!

It'll be Jill's 1st Thanksgiving as well, we're exited. :)

I completely understand...I've never had to be dependent on anyone before moving here.  So to finally have my own money... def made a difference in my self-esteem.
