Something's Coming - Barbra Streisand

I'm walking down the line
That divides me somewhere in my mind
On the border line of the edge
And where I walk alone

Good effort - Boulevard of Broken Dreams  Glad to see you got the James Blunt one too. I was begining to wonder if it was too cryptic

I was tuning in the shine on the late night dial
doing anything my radio advised
with every one of those late night stations
playing songs bringing tears to my eyes
I was seriously thinking about hiding the receiver
when the switch broke 'cause it's old
They're saying things that I can hardly believe.
They really think we're getting out of control.

'Cause when it comes to being lucky she's cursed
when it comes to lovin' me she's worst
but when it comes to being loved she's first

Maggie - Rod Stewart

Ill fake it through the day
With some help from johnny walker red
Send the poison rain down the drain
To put bad thoughts in my head
Two tickets torn in half
And a lot of nothing to do...

No cookie this time Jewlz.  I see your connection though. It was The First Cut is the Deepest by Cat Stevens (made popular by Rod Stewart)

Answer to yours:
Miss Misery - Elliot Smith

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray

Awww.... I thought I had it! I remember those lines in Maggie, though, I thought.... Darn!

Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray

We Won't Be Fooled Again - The Who (OK, that might not be the actual song title, I admit...in fact, I think the song is called something else, but at least hopefully this time I have the right song!)

I listen to my words but
they fall far below
I let my music take me where
my heart wants to go
I swam upon the devil's lake
But never, never never never
I'll never make the same mistake
No, never, never, never

CORRECT on both counts.  The Who song that doesn't match the title is Baba O'Riley. Alot of people seem to think it's called Teenage Wastelands.

I listen to my words but
they fall far below
I let my music take me where
my heart wants to go
I swam upon the devil's lake
But never, never never never
I'll never make the same mistake
No, never, never, never

I knew instantly this was Cat Stevens, took me a while to go through my songs and find it because I wanted to say Never Never but I know that wasn't right...so THE WIND

L.A.'s fine, the sun shines most the time
And the feeling is 'lay back'
Palm trees grow, and rents are low
But you know I keep thinkin' about
Making my way back

I Am I Said- Neil Diamond

You gotta lotta nerve to say you are my friend
When I was down you just stood there grinnin'
You gotta lotta nerve to say you got a helping hand to lend
You just wanna be on the side that's winnin'
You say I let you down, you know it's not like that
If you're so hurt why then don't you show it?

Positively 4th Street - Bob Dylan

So I drifted down to new orleans
Where I happened to be employed
Workin’ for a while on a fishin’ boat
Right outside of delacroix.

Tangled Up In Blue- Bob Dylan

You must leave now.
Take what you need you think will last
But whatever you wish to keep
You better grab it fast
Yonder stands your orphan with his gun
Crying like a fire in the sun...

It's All Over Now, Baby Blue - Bob Dylan again

Well I woke up Sunday morning,
With no way to hold my head that didn't hurt.
And the beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad,
So I had one more for dessert.
Then I fumbled through my closet for my clothes,
And found my cleanest dirty shirt.
An' I shaved my face and combed my hair,
An' stumbled down the stairs to meet the day.

You could have done better but I don't mind
You just kinda wasted my precious time

Don't Think Twice- Elvis

All my teardrops are dried
No more walkin' the floor
With that burnin' inside
Just to think it could be
Time has opened the door
And at last I am free
