New Baby Question
« on: October 30, 2005, 04:30:33 PM »
I just had a little boy and I am flying to Scotland from Bristol for Christmas.  This may sound silly but can he still fly without a passport.  I don't go to the embassy until Jan '06 to have him registered and get his own passport.
The day I met my son is the day I became me.  I thank him for that.

For an adult, you don't need a passport to fly between those two citys, but you do need a photo id. So, I'm almost sure you don't need anything for the baby since you are flying within the uk.

Wouldn't he be eligible to get a British passport?  MUCH faster to get - a fortnight or so - and required for exit/entry to the UK if one is legally a UK national.  Aillidh's only took 10 days to get, and that was by post!
