« on: November 02, 2005, 10:36:04 AM »
Well after having a quite sh*te week so far, I stopped into Morrisons on my way home yesterday and much to my surprise......

Oscar Meyer Bacon

And it wasnt' bad on price either, below £2.00 for a pack.  I must say, it made my day that little bit better.   :)

(oh, I bought 3 packs as well, just to be on the safe side.   ;D)

It was indeed.     ;D

I know it's sold at Sainsburys but the nearest one to me is about 20 miles away.  Morrisons is at the bottom of my street.   :D

Same here.  My younger one gets a "crispy bacon" craving every once in a while, and it really is best for that.

Plus, it's great in a peanut butter & bacon sarnie!  ;)

Same for me.   :)

I love English back bacon, but to have a BLT on toast with mayo, just made my otherwise crap day, so much better.

Trust me.  Yummy.  Crispy bacon and smooth peanut butter on white lightly toasted bread!

OK, I'm going to try it next time.  But how on earth did you come up with that one?

I don't know - something my mom used to fix me.  Goes great with a huge glass of ice cold milk, too.  Comfort food!

Oh yeah, I saw that last week. I did a big double take and nearly wee'd myself in the shop. My friend who was with me was like "what's the big deal?".

I'm one of the rare people here who doesn't like the bacon in the UK. I prefer the good old american style streaky bacon.
