OMG!!!!  We finally watched the Johnny Depp film - Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street last night - it was so amazingly good...super gory, but amazing all the same...TBH, the blood looked more like thick red paint than real blood, but I digress.  It's a film I think I'd actually like to own, and I don't say that about very many films.  Both Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter did a fab job!

We also recently watched a crime documentary called Cocaine Cowboys, which was good but seemingly a bit lengthy for a documentary, IMO.

The Straight Story--it's a true story about an old man who drives his lawnmower from Iowa to Wisconsin to see his estranged brother. It is very sweet and understated. Definitely recommended. A straightforward narrative by David Lynch, too! Who would have thought?
If we called them Sad Meals, no one would buy them.

Pineapple Express and Idiocracy.  I had seen Idiocracy before, but Mr. A hadn't.  We both needed to laugh, and we did.

Some stinky piece called Jumper. I really don't like Hayden Christianson (sp?) at all and the plot was just crap.
