Attention career students!
« on: November 28, 2005, 04:13:55 PM »
So, I've just finished my MA, and am planning on starting my PhD next year.  By the time I'm finished, I will be in my late 30s.  Which is fine with me - I'd rather be in school than working!  I have a habit of working for a few years, then going back to school.  And I've noticed that a lot of my friends have similar educational habits.  So here's the thing - I'm thinking about writing a book about this "career student" phenomenon.  I'm currently in the phase of collecting data, and seeing if there's even enough material for a book.  So if you-
*Are a "mature student"
* Have spent a longer time in school than the "average" student
* Are considering going back to uni
* Or fall into any other category that you would consider to be of the "career student" variety,

...and don't mind answering a short questionnaire, could you please PM me?  Don't worry, I won't share any information you don't want me to, I'm just trying to get an idea of the demographic, if you will.  As I say, I'm not even sure it will lead anywhere, but I'm kind of intrigued by the idea at the moment.

Thanks for your time!
