Cait, their dinner is on the 28th, which is 3 days after Burns Night and after I leave Edinburgh. Thanks for checking it for me though

It's in London so if you wanted you could go to London after Edinburgh couldn't you? And apparently they can be held throughout the year and in fact first started on the anniversary of his death in July. Mind you it looks like Russia is the place to go for them:

well I suppose I could go to one in London but that would be missing the point
the point was I wanted to go to one in Scotland and was told  there would be plenty, and since I was gonna be there on the anniversary of his death anyway...

I have been to one before, w/the Scots Society in central FL...
I thought it  might be different
