Any artists there? (Royal College of Art? Why not?)
« on: January 06, 2006, 08:47:02 PM »
I am currently studying jewellery at a uni in the US.   At some point I'd like to go and try to do masters.  Given the fact that I'm opting to move to live in London in a matter of few months, I was thinking of getting my degree at the Royal College of Art.  I talked about it with my teacher and she said that I'd probably won't get in.  What??????  I know it's not the issue of being good at what I do, because I know I am.  She suggested school of sir John Cass or whatever it's called.  So here is my question to all the artists out there.

How hard is it to get into the RCA?  What is the school like in general?  How much does it differ from American art colleges?

PS.  I won't have any problems with student visa, cuz I'm already EU member as well (living in the US right now).

Any input will help greatly. Thanks :)
