So, we are hitched and I need to get an FLR so I can get a job and talk to people other than the tesco till workers!!!!!!! My husband and I need to go to Glasgow Public Enquiries Office and do th same-day (500 POUNDS!) thing.

I have several questions about this:

When phoning for an appointment, how hard is it to get through?

How long does it usually take for appointment turnaround? That is, if I called tomorrow, would I get one in a week? two?

How much of a formality is this? Can I just bring my husband, our passports, birth certificates, and marriage certificate, or should I bring the assorted crap we used to get me the VAF2 visa when I was back in the states?

Thanks for your help.

Good luck.

Bring all the same stuff you did for the fiancee visa (obviously updated, so it is the last 3 months bank statements etc, not the exact same ones you produced last time) plus, obviously, the marriage certificate, photographs, passports etc.

Your husband probably doesn't even need to come with you.
