Thank you everyone - I don't know what I would have done without this site when I met and fell in love with my brit - now I know I will continue to use it throughout the rest of my life with him!

I will continue with theknot.com then and use their message boards as well.  :D

Yaye Andrea!  Congratulations!

Give me a jangle sometime...  I'll have to dig around this mess of a house & see if I kept any of the wedding mags, etc that I used for our wedding.

Yup, that was final in June of 2005 - so we're legal and his ex knows and his son (14) knows and no one is throwing tantrums (excpet my mom, haha)

Congrats...  [smiley=balloon.gif] I know how you feel about planning a wedding in the US when you're in the UK. I'm doing that right now, and it's hard to plan because you're in a completely different world over here. We'll getting married this July in the US... and we're going to stay there! (Woo-hoo!)

I agree that theknot.com is invaluable. It's so organized-- far more organized than I'll ever be!  And it gives you great inspiration, including your own "notebook" to store ideas. You can even make a website about you and your fiance.

Congrats!

Erm, do we have the same wedding day?  :o  Your ticker says 8 months 1 week 5 days, same as mine.  The 14th of October?
