OMG.  Can it be true?  Can it be real?
Must RUN to station NOW, before it all goes horribly wrong!

Sod's Law says the second you set foot in the station 'good service' will be replaced with 'severe delays'.

I have no idea what it's like now, but 20 or so years ago there used to be plenty of jokes about the Northern Line, e.g.

"A breakdown and an incident at Bank station is causing severe delays on the Northern Line."

Translation:  "Normal service."

It didn't today!!!   ;D
Yes, usually... you are correct.  Which is why I usually walk VERY fast between work and the station.

Oh yes, still plenty of jokes about the Northern Line.  Sadly, well earned.
