I'm wondering if I have to pay the international fees to go to uni when I'm in the UK on a spouse visa, or if I'm lucky enough to get the resident/eu rates.
Does anyone know? Thanks :)

you have to have been resident in the UK or EU for three years and have ILR or citizenship to be eligible for home fees.  This applies to everyone, including British citizens.  Sorry  :-\\\\
Now a triple citizen!

Student visa 9/06-->Int'l Grad Scheme 1/08-->FLR(M) 7/08-->ILR 6/10-->British citizenship 12/12

Thanks!  That sucks!
I thought I read somewhere that if you go part-time that you only pay those fees and not additional "international student" fees.  Has anyone heard that too?  :)

It depends on the university.  Most don't have a provision for international part-time students, so you get home fees, but apparently some are now closing this loophole.  I'm on a spousal visa as well, and I go to Oxford Brookes part-time on home fees.

I hate that I can't go full-time though.  I assure you, I did not come to the UK just to take advantage of the universities here!  Seems like if you are here as a spouse they ought to give you a break.
