Matt -- Based on averages, you're looking at overnight lows in the 60s (the lowest it would get) and daytime highs around 80-85. It'll be humid but probably not as humid as it gets later on in the summer. It generally doesn't rain
as much that time of year as it does in the summer & fall. But typical southern Florida rain means a heavy thundershower somewhere between 3-8 pm and clear/sunny before & after that. I'm saying 'thumbs up' -- I think it'd be great beach time! And you're right, there's a lot on the west coast of Florida that is
nothing like the 'usual Florida experience' -- LOL. (In all the time I lived there, I *never* went to Disneyland -- but I did go to two of the BEST natural (undeveloped) beaches in the whole of the US, according to Dr Beach. And there was a dolphin there that nearly swam all the way into shore! Snorkeling with the manatees in the river -- in the winter was pretty cool too.)
I miss 'my' Florida.
