Sweet potato curry and rice. It was nice! And I'm not trying to be Dr. Seuss.

That sounds yummy! I'd love the recipe.

Dr. Seuss rocks, by the way.  ;D

A doctor once told mom that marshmallows were the best thing to give us when we were craving something sweet because they are lower in fat and calories than most treats, and they are so sweet it takes very few of them to satisfy the craving for sweet. I have a bag of them in the freezer so I can ration them out. They are the giant Campfire brand ones.

Aldis in my area had a American week so I got a bag of big fat American style marshmellows sadly there all gone I didn't know Dh liked them as much I did I would have gotten a few more bags if I had known. ::)  :P he doesn't have a sweet tooth is what shocks me he prefers things that are savory.

Hey nothing against marshmallows, but I'm surprised a doctor reccomended them over something like, oh, *raisins*!  :o

The last thing I ate was pasta for dinner, the next I will eat is going to be chocolate!

Two Kallo rice cakes with peanut butter (these rice cakes are so good they are addictive... no kidding!), an orange and a strawberry soy yogurt.

Spinach, red onion and salmon scramble.  My new breakfast- it's delicious but much better with kale.

He did say fruit was best, but if she was going to give us 'junk', marshmallows were the best option. Of couse, this was the late 70's when a good dose of sunshine was still a good thing and people weren't as 'up' on nutrition as we are now.  ;D

The late 70s, that 'splains it!  I grew up on Spaghetti Os, Count Chocula, iceberg lettuce, and 'fish stix'.  Not exactly all that nutritional!  :D
