Moving Boxes
« on: September 06, 2002, 09:05:19 PM »
Aw... the Gods of MOVING strike again, and as suspected David & I are probably moving flats again in the next few weeks. We're not moving to London yet, that won't be until January we think (depends on his job) - but his lease is up here on the flat and we think that moving closer to his job will save us enough money in the next 5 months to pay for atleast 1 trip to America... and it's a lot closer to his family so I can spend more time with them and eat their food. :) SO ANYWAY... we're lucky that we don't have a lot of crap... me fresh from America and his fresh from a divorce... but we still need boxes. I'm moved enough times to know the blessing of equally-sized moving boxes but have NO idea where to find them (and like so many other people here I'm going to say "where is UHAUL when you need them?")... so.... who does? :D
I'm done moving. Unrepatriated back to the UK, here for good!

Look in the yellow pages under 'van and truck hire'.  You can buy moving boxes from those places.   :)

I've bought my boxes, and thought I'd recommend the site I got them from: http://www.boxes-for-moving.co.uk/ (and hope that's ok to recommend it and that I'm not breaking any rules!) - - they have different sized packs for a flat price and they deliver next day anywhere. I was really impressed... and well... thought I'd share. :D
