hey london locals
« on: April 07, 2006, 10:26:36 PM »
I just booked the hop on hop off bus tour and it says that i have to redeem the voucher at either Coventry Street (Picadilly Circus), Baker Street Station, or Grosvenor Gardens (Victoria Station).  Our hotel is about a 5 minute walk from Earls Court Station.  Which of the 3 redemption points is going to be closest and the easiest to get to?  Should we take the tube to there?  A little help would be smashing.  Granted we are leaving early in the morning so the sooner I can get an answer the better.  Cheers

Victoria is only a few tube stops from Earls court on the district line, so that would seem to be your best bet.

Here is a tube map:

Let's take our wigs off in the shopi aisle and fight it out.

you can ask when you get there and do the math of how many trips you think you will be taking... I think it is £3 for a cash ticket in zone one but much less if you buy a day ticket!!

I think it's better to pick up the bus tour at Piccadilly Circus.  That's where they officially 'start'.  You can take the Piccadilly line from Earl's Court too.
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…
