Can anyone tell me if this sounds ok for the consulate.

It will be off Chris's parents.
We  (there names)  (at address they live at) are happy to co-sponsor  our son and will be giving him $$$$$$$$$ amount so he will have no recourse to  public funds. Please find enclosed 3 months bank statements.

We fully support him and his wife sonya in there marriage and there new life together as a family in the UK.

Does this sound ok to everyone? if anyone has any other idea's if we have missed anything out.

Thankyou

Chris and Sonya

I'm no expert, but I think it will be okay because two conditions need to be met:

1. They need to provide bank statements that show that there is money in their account

2. They need to give consent that the money in the account is available for Chris's use (so he won't have to use public funds).

As for the actual syntax of the letter I think as long as it is well written and is signed then it shouldn't matter much, but it's usually better to give them too much information than not enough.

Thanks Stuart for you reply.

They will be providing the 3 months statements as they have been saving in this account for Chris and I to get married for a while. They are giving the money to us as a wedding present they surprised us as they where planning on the big wedding thing but we only wanted a small wedding, its Chris's first marriage and my 3rd so we talked and decided this time we are going the quiet way.
