Property finders?
« on: May 06, 2006, 05:27:07 PM »
We're moving in from Germany next month, and I'm trying my best to get a house lined up...None of the estate agents I've contacted seem interested in us unless we're already in country.
Can anyone recommend or advise if I might locate a 'property finder' (is this the right word?)...Looking area Mildenhall and 20 miles surrounding, Cambridgeshire or Suffolk.    Thanks!!! ::)

You might want to look at rightmove.co.uk.  Good Luck!   :)

I would suggest NOT setting up a house until after you move over here - you really want a chance to look at places and areas.  But use www.rightmove.co.uk or www.vebra.com to do an initial search.

agree with the other posters re: using www.rightmove.co.uk - it seems to be the main uk site all agents list their properties on.

(it's a sellers market here so don't be surprised if agents are pretty crap at communication. )

Another good property finding site is ..
www.sps.net
well it is if you are looking in Scotland anyways.. LOL The SPS stands for Scottish Property something or other..
also Re-Max is a international company and has loads of branches in the UK.. Just do a search for Re-Max UK or England or Scotland
