Thanks for the info.  I've done a little checking and myspace is actually very protective of its members, which was a great relief.  Perhaps one day I'll get off my butt and sign up for one of 'em. :P

Have you yet?? I'd like to see your page! :D Here's my addy: http://www.myspace.com/twistedncynical

Yeah, I signed up the other day.  I haven't done much but make it look a little pretty.  Hopefully I'll be able to get it really going this weekend.

I've been toying with signing up on myspace, but I'm one of those privacy freaks.  How private can you make it?  I just don't want my email address and stuff like that out there for the world to see. :-\\\\

If you put your age as 15 or younger it goes to private...no one can see all your info on the front of your page. If im not mistaken... :-\\\\

Jenn, I think it's just that people use Myspace differently. I have a Livejournal and that's where I blog. I use Myspace purely as a networking site. I've got in touch with a lot of old friends on there and keep in touch with some family there. I've used the blog feature a handful of times just because I don't add most people I know in real life to my Livejournal.

I'm on myspace too. I took most of my info off of my profile for a while, but I added more a few days ago. I've found two friends on there that I'd lost  contact with years ago! If you want to add me: http://www.myspace.com/angukusa

I just went to sign up for Typepad because I thought I'd give it a try so I could keep a public journal for my real life friends and family. I didn't know you had to pay for it! :(

I went ahead and signed up for myspace.  But it isn't near as user-friendly as yahoo 360.  I really don't have time to be messing with it. :-\\\\

Ya, the reason I chose typepad was because of the photo storage, and I really like there design options etc.  But I hear ya, its not free, and free is good!  But I am quite happy with there service ;)  The founders, are from SF ;D

Yeah, they recently purchased Livejournal so the Livejournal team has moved to SF.

LJ has photo storage too (as a paid feature) but I've only used it a little. I mostly host mine on Photobucket. I do like the way Typepad looks and may give it a try once I've found a frickin job.

Just got one yesterday. I really didn't want one, because i'm the type that hates to join the craze and the "it" thing to do ( gosh I know everyone and everyone's grandmas has a myspace profile! ). But I had to give in because all my family have one, and so I felt left out  ::) It's a great way to keep in touch with my family on a daily basis besides emailing and texting and instant messaging.

Married to my scrumptious hottie Scottish boy on August 13, 2005.
