My Husband is currently here with me now.... He is around £100 over draft . He does have a letter from his work stating he will have a job to come back to in July. We have proof of mortgage and such. and a letter from mother allowing us to live with her until we find a place we really love.

Any advice on that?  :D

Should we figure out something on shifting money about?   :-\\\\

Times a ticking! ;)

He still has access to money £800 pounds but its to make his account at £ 0

I will have around £ 2,000 Once we have converted my savings in my checking account.

I was in something of the same situation...my husband had been in the US with me for eight months.  As we were both jobless, we got a letter from his mum stating we could live with her and that she would support us.  We had to back it up with a letter proving the mortgage as well as her payslips and bank statements.  They didn't look at our bank account because, frankly, they would have laughed at the big red number we had gotten to by that point!

I don't know if £2,000 will be deemed sufficient to support you until you find a job, honestly.  It seems completely subjective as to the amounts which are considered acceptable.  Maybe someone else will have more concrete advice; for us, using his mum's income (and she's a pensioner) and proof was enough to get us the visa with no hassles.

We did the same. We didn't even submit bank statements from either of us because his account was empty and mine was actually overdrawn. We just submitted 3 months worth of statements from his father's account along with proof of his mortgage saying we could stay with him if we needed to and that he would support us if needed so that we wouldn't need to collect benefits. It worked for us getting my visa.

The important question here is what is his salary and can he show a regular salary going into his bank account.
