Just thought I'd let you know I found some Cinnamon Extra Gum at the news agents this morning... I think it's called Fire!

YES, indeed!  It has a menthol tast to it, but it is a step in the right cinnamon direction.

I got some the other day at Tesco, and got all excited.  After putting a piece in my mouth, I was disappointed.  I didn't think it tasted like cinnamon at all!  It was too mentholy for me.  I would just like to have my Big Red chewing gum.  I would be happy with that.  As MrsPink said though, it is a step in the right direction.

I saw it in Sainsburys, along with the black Airwaves gum, which tastes like black liquorice!  :)

:-X  Thank you for warning me!  I'll be sure to stay away from it!   ;D

DF tried some of the Extra cinnamon gum, and was disappointed.  He didn't like the mentholy taste it had.  Poor thing, I got him hooked on Big Red.  I'll ask if he's tried the black Airwaves gum, though, because unlike me he loves black liquorice.

that's funny to hear.  Anytime I do anything with cinnamon my df teases me saying "you Americans and your obsession with cinnamon!"  He lived here in the US for about 5 years a long while back (which is how I met him) and he always thought we put cinnamon in everything.  I never thought about it at all.  I will have to bring a stash with me b/c I like cinnamon gum and breathmints.

It was okay, with a bit too much menthol. I suppose it's back to Covent Garden then...

Let's take our wigs off in the shopi aisle and fight it out.
