British Gas

We have Npower, today British gas came around and gave some excellent deals

Price freeze until dec 2009
No estimates, they always come and read your meter before sending you a bill
£15 discount for having both gas and electric with them
and they sais they are 11-15% cheaper then Npower.

We are highly considering switching over. I was wondering what other peoples expierances are with British gas before we do it though?

Noooo!  We just paid £240 for the past 3 months' service.  There's GOT to be something cheaper.

Yeah, we had British Gas and did the combined thing. It was horrible!  They just couldn't ever get it right!

DON'T DO IT! British Gas has the worst customer service I have EVER encountered and that's including the any in the US.

We switched from them to SWALEC and so far have been happy with them.

I have British Gas for both... no problems. Customer service was no worse than other companies in the UK in my experience.
