Sent in my fiance visa application so when can i expect to hear back from them?

I sent in my application in electronically on Saturday(the 17th) and then overnighted the documents on Monday (the19th) morning. I tracked the package on Tuesday morning and it had been delivered at 11:14 a.m. I have not received an email letting me know that they received my application and documents. I know its only been a few days but I thought that I would have heard from them by now at least letting me know that they got my stuff. When can I expect to hear from them?

I know people have posted that some consulates send emails straight away once they've received your application, and some consulates never email you at all.  Which consulate was it?

I sent to the New York Consulate

New York was where I sent mine, see my signature for timeframe.  It's not in there but I believe they did email me that they had received it the day after FedEx showed they had.  Might take a day to get to the department and opened sort of thing.

I hope they contact me soon. I will try and call them on monday morning.

I overnighted to the NYC consulate, and it took them almost a week to admit they had the stuff.  But, the day after they admitted it, they told me they had a visa for me!   Hang in there, this is probably a busy time for them.

I just got an email from them saying they have my documents now I just wait and see what they are going to say
