Coming downstairs to do the dishes after a marathon cooking session and finding DH had already done them. 

A walk in the forest with the sun shining and then coming home and it started snowing.

Happiness is...having the house to ourselves again after a weekend of houseguests.

Dinner out at a lovely restaurant with six relatives. 

spending Easter day in Santa Cruz with my daughter, going shopping at the downtown outdoor mall, and then dragging her to Davenport to visit my father's memorial plaque and tree at the beach.  We finished the day by going out to a late lunch.  We haven't spent that much time together in a while, it was a really good time.
