Crap weather, nothing on TV, BF not here, ordering in pizza....all the perfect combination for getting a ton accomplished with my research proposal.  ;D

Going home at lunch to see DS and a friend making a fort in our attic.  Lovely to see two 13 year olds having some good old fashioned fun!! 

And they want to sleep up there tonight...  we'll see if they're brave enough!

Very cool! I haven't seen my 12 year old son play anything except video games for the past few years. It's very sad.  :-\\\\

They tried to rig up something that would allow them to have the x-box up there but to no avail!  (darn)  It's great to see them excited about something that doesn't involve tv or computers!

  • it's sunny and warm
  • my son is happily playing with his sand/water table, making a complete mess of himself
  • the laundry is blowing in the breeze on the clothesline
  • I can hear the children from the nearby elementary school playing in the schoolyard
  • I'm sitting in the shade on a comfy chair, surfing the 'net

Life is good.
