I am going to be moving to England with my husband. My 3 children, ages 8, 11, and 15 will be going with us. I was told by the local passport agent that I only needed form DS 3053 for the absent parent. I have joint custody wwith primary physical of my daughters and sole custody with visitation rights for the ex with my son.
My question is this: Do I HAVE to get a copy of the absent parent's driver's license/id? According to the passport agency (local), I only needed the signed, notarized DS 3053, which I have. I also have the consent form for moving to the UK signed and notarized. Are these good enough or do I have to try and track down the fathers and get them to give me a copy of their ID's as well?
Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.
TIA,
Lisa
