osteopaths... have you ever been?
« on: July 24, 2006, 10:06:01 AM »
i did a search for osteopath info on this site, and surprisingly little came up.  i was watching the baby channel this weekend (yes, i'm broody at the moment) and there was a piece of the pediatric osetopath center in london.  it got me thinking about my jar/tmj/clenching teeth issue i have going on.  is this something an osetopath would/could take care of?

what's the difference between a chriopracter and osteopath?

I've been to both & I personally prefer chiropractors as they seem to manipulate more than osteopaths do (at least the ones I've been to).

I can't comment on your tmj as I went to the chiropractor & osteopath for sciatica...but it might be worth calling a few osteopaths & asking them how they go about treating tmj & compare them with what a chiropractor would do.  Doesn't really help answer your question - but I thought I'd share my general experience betwen the two!
