London (and West Midlands) bound!
« on: July 27, 2006, 08:02:59 PM »
Hey everybody!

I used to post to the UKY forums last year when I was researching the possibility of a move to the UK. I haven't quite worked that out yet BUT I did just purchase a ticket to London, for the 16th of November to the 28th. It was only $500, an amount of money I had access to, so I just took the plunge and booked the flight. I've never done anything like this before and I find the idea of creating an itenerary to be more more daunting than the prospect of being in London alone. I also plan to truck it up to the West Midlands to the Birmingham area to visit a friend and hopefully attend a camera fair in Wolverhampton.

I guess I'll be staying in hostels along the way, which isn't so scary when there are sites out there with pre-booking and guest reviews.

I will be in England over Thanksgiving, which is okay since I'm a vegetarian and "turkey day" isn't that great for me anymore anyway ;)

I just wanted to pop back in, as I'm sure I'll be searchiing through old threads to find out information and making posts when needed.

So, hello again, if I ever had any interaction with you before and I hope everyone's doing well!

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.
