Hi all, I have a question about my ILR application.
I sent everything off by post about a week and a half ago, and got a letter from the Home Office saying 'Thank you for your application by the above named on form SET(M). It will now be passed forward to a casework unit....'. It goes on from there.
Anyways, the letter is addressed to my husband...?? Stating him as the applicant (we sent his British Passport so it's pretty obvious that he isn't the one in need of a visa). I was just thinking that
I would be the applicant. So I called up the home office and someone there said (in a round about way) that it was just a clerical error and not to worry. Hmm. Well I can't help but be a bit concerned. Should I be more concerned or are letters in fact addressed to the spouse?
Thanks, I guess this is why people apply in person
