Agency Work and visa application
« on: August 09, 2006, 11:30:34 AM »
Hi all,

I have started working full time, a job I got through an employment agency. It's not a permanant job, although it has the possibilty of turning into a permanant position. How will this affect my fiancees visa application? Do they require a proper full time job for the sponser? or do I just have to show that i am earning money and can support her, regardless of the type of work?

If you can show regular income and that you live within your means you will be fine.  Many people do agency work or are self employed and still manage to sponsor visas.

Thanks Vicky, It is an ongoing job, and I easily pay rent and bills with the wage, so this is encouraging. Thanks for the help, will let you know how our application goes.
