Where can I find maple syrup in Scotland?

  I was in the states with my fiance recently visiting his family....

Know we are back home and I cant find maple syrup anywhere.

You can usually find it in most grocery stores.  Maple treat is the fake stuff or there is often Canadian Pure Maple Syrup.  You need to look in the ice-cream topping section, not the flour section.  :)

Tesco has Rowses (Canadian) maple syrup.

There is also Lyle's maple flavoured syrup, usually found with the ice cream toppings, which (in my opinion) is MUCH nicer than 'real' maple syrup.

Or, if you are in Edinburgh of Glasgow, Lupe Pinto's has Aunt Jemima or Log Cabin syrup.... cant remember which one.

When we were in Canada recently, we had several pancake breakfasts and my dad made such a big deal about having real maple syrup.  It is very expensive where my parents live (opposite end of the country from where it's made) but we asked for the Aunt Jemima.  He thought I was crazy!  It's just that we get maple syrup here cheaper than they can get it and so we always have real maple syrup.  It's the Aunt Jemima we can't get at home!!!

I found Pure Canadian maple syrup at marks and spencer's
