garlic mayonnaise anyone?
« on: September 08, 2006, 01:20:08 PM »
I'm craving it something awful, on chips with curry sauce.  Don't ask me why.  I've never been able to find it in the states anywhere and haven't been able to find a recipe to make it.  I'm wanting the good old chip shop sort and DH is craving it too.  Thought  we'd do a fish and chips sort of thing for tea this weekend and i'd love to have it.  We found Bisto chip shop curry sauce granuals at the store last week and it was fab, but just not the same without the mayo.  Anyone know what goes in it or how to make it?

I'm in the states right now and have looked everywhere for it.  We have quite a few groceries that carry imported food, but haven't seen it.  I looked online as well to see if i could order it somewhere and can't find it anywhere.

You might try looking for it as aioli.  And is this the tristessa that was in Sweden for awhile?
If you don't know where you're going, it doesn't matter what road you take.
