Some friends appeared at our door just as I was starting supper last night, kidnapped us and took us to Portobello Beach (Edinburgh, not London!) for the evening.  We had the best time!  Nice long (slooow) walk along the promenade, £1 worth of 2p pieces at the arcade, then chips and curry instead of supper!

Kids had a sleepover at said friends' house last night.  Sweet silence....

(They'll be home later this afternoon, but I am feelin MUCH refreshed!)

1.  Meeting with an accountant this morning and finding out that I have in fact been doing things correctly on my own and I don't owe any money. Whew!

2.  Getting an email from a long-lost friend who Googled me. I haven't seen him in 10+ years and .... he now lives in the UK!  ;D

My very handsome neighbor knocked on the door.  He is as nice as can be.

He found the two parcels that had gone missing in the main house.  Plus some other post.

1) so dang purty out there today!

2) last day of work!

2.1) leaving for chicago on monday morning! there till 20 april with the family, and dh & i are going to be part of the surprise for my sister's surprise 30th birthday party on the 14th! woooot!  ;D [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]
