Poison Control still gives out Mr. Yuk stickers!  We got a ton of them in a 'new parent' folder when my son was born. ;D

I had friends who had a Mr. Microphone in the '90s!! It was so much fun!!  ;D

(Sorry, but I've never heard of Mr. Yuck. And I know I'm old enough! Am I too old?!?)

The Mr. Yuk commercials played on Saturday mornings if I recall correctly and my mom used them around the house. Maybe it was a regional thing?

I never heard of Mr Yuk either (grew up in Kansas).  So I was wondering if it was regional as well?

Mr. Microphone...what a great commercial! My sister had one, I need to send the link onto her!

As for Mr. Yuck, I don't remember the commercial but I do remember the stickers being everywhere as a kid.

I remember Mr. Yuk, the stickers, but by the time I came around it was the national poison control center.

I remember both the commercial and the stickers.  My Mom placed the stickers on everything.  ;D

I dont remember Mr Yuck (maybe he was regional)but I did have the micro phone.

I remember Mr Microphone fondly LOL.. Not heard the Mr Yuk advert so that may have been regional,I grew up in Massachusetts. I do however remember the Mr Yuk stickers.

Was in New York at the time and I recall the Mr. Yuk campaign....not the ad but definitely those stickers...I always tried to peel off the phones...geez, now that I think about it, I think we still had some on our phones when I headed off to college.  Even worse, I think we still had those horrid rotary phones where you'd have to spin the dial and then it'd go, di-di-di-di-di-di...then the next number, di-di-di-di-di-di. etc.  Do those even exist anymore?

I wonder whatever happened to Mr. Yuck.... it was a very good campaign for kids! Every child understood it! Maybe he went the same way of Woodsy the Owl...remember him? "Give a hoot, don't pollute". I had his sticker as well.

Back in the 70's I remember my very forward thinking elementary school had an Ecology week. We did nothing but learn about the environment for five days every year, no reading, math or science, it was fun! I think I had hippy school teachers...it was great!  :D
