I just wanted to say hello, I've been a follower for some time, but deciced it's time to post  ::)

I've been in the UK for longer than I can remember
Los Angeles to Scotland to London to Hampshire.

oh my god your "rah rah ree kick em in the knee" reminds me of my mom so much! Alonge with the second line... "rah rah rass, kick em in the other knee!" - I thought that was the funniest thing ever growing up.

ANYWAY - - welcome to un-lurkville, it's always nice to have lurkers de-cloak and reveal themselves!

I just wanted to say welcome to the land of the posters!  Though I to lurked for quite a while prior to posting.  It's that stick your toe in the water thing I think.

It was a lot bigger in the 80's. Almost every town had a team.
Chicago Bears was the the pet team the locals loved to support. The Rams were still in LA  :-/

Oh yeah! I remember when the NFL had made a big deal about actually playing a game in London whatever year in the 80s it was. I never knew the game really took off here! That's cool! And welcome, too!
