How do I help out my employer in sorting my visa?

I am going to be taken on full time with a company in London and I wanted to know the steps I need to take and how I would make infomation available to them? Any idea how long the paperwork will take and what will I need to do on my end to help them?

They most likely would need to avail themselves of an immigration specialist to help work out the paperwork.  Vicky is part of such an organization.  If you PM her, I am sure she will be glad to help out.

Basically they need to file the paperwork necessary to get you a work permit.  Once issued with the work permit, you then apply for entry clearance.  For what you can do, the best thing to do is have your information ready.  They will need your passport, CV and copies of your school degrees, etc.
