I watched it on Dlisted. Complete train-wreck! They really put her on the spot too.

I just saw it there too! The link is here if anyone else wants to have a look. Was it the same programme she was on last year when she was in a similar state? I can't remember, but she obviously hasn't fixed anything since then.

She was in Atomic Kitten, but that was before I moved to the UK, so not really a point of reference for me. She was married to Brian McFadden. She's posed topless. She's been on celebrity reality programmes. She's been in rehab. So just your typical DLister, really. 

The fact that she has 4 kids and goes on a tv program completely wasted is concerning. I wonder if social services will have a look at her after that appearance.

I knew she'd done it before, so I checked. It was during a GMTV interview nearly exactly a year ago (19 October 2007).

So, yes, it is very concerning. But, given that nothing happened last year, I'd be surprised if Social Services did anything about it now.

Brian is fighting her for custody of their children - it's been going on for the last two years!  I would guess that this appearance would help him quite a bit.

I saw it live as had This Morning on.  Thought Phil handled it rather well.

Bet Max Clifford is rubbing his hands in glee and has pound signs spinning in his eyes.

This will boost ratings for her show.

I don't understand how or why people buy stuff that features her or watch 'reality' shows with her in them.

She's trailer trash all the way.  Her voice grates on my last nerve and I used to switch off those tacky Iceland adverts with her in them.

I've been following this! Uh-oh is right. But I have a slight issue with it - the programme was pre-recorded, which meant that the producer(s) must have made the decision to air it. Although it was a silly thing for Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross to do, it never had to be heard at all if the BBC had really thought it was out of line. Granted, Andrew Sachs would still have been subjected to the boys' foolishness but, if I have the facts right, it only became an issue because 27,000 listeners complained, not because Sachs did. And most people seem to agree that the BBC shouldn't be airing stuff like this ... so why did they??
