rachel allen bugs me too....she has a kitchen the size of the average british house, every gagdet known to man and about 4 ovens!!! i could make it look easy too!!! let her come cook in my miniscule kitchen with my tiny oven......HA!

here here!

BUT, she's not half as poncey as Nigella's gone!  what happened there?!  it used to be pretty good, but I'm finding her Xmas show way too Martha Stewart. ::)

Hate it!  All those expensive, faffy recipes.

James Martin . . . yuk!  He looks like one of those 'Tally ho' wussies.

I think most men feel that way! I'd love to look like her -- in my opinion, that is the perfect figure. Sadly, it would take me a lot of work at the gym to get there.  :(

Do British men have that blunt tendency??? My bf goes on about the "proper" woman and has echoed your husbands words. His dream is to own Nigella  ::)

Mine too!  Whenever I cook he calls me his 'little Nigella'...then his eyes glaze over and I can't get a sensible word out of him for twenty minutes  >:(

I think it goes a long way to quashing the myth that blokes like their women skinny!
