Its on Shelton Street (off Neal street). About a 2 minute walk from Cafe Pacifico which is on Langley Street.  Tried to go there for lunch but felt bad about paying £25 for two orders of chicken fajitas.

A CyberCandy care package, courtesy of hubby, arrived today.  After finding a link on UKY, I browsed their site drooling over a few things and lovely hubby took pity on me.  So I now have some Cinnamon Fire Jolly Ranchers (apple too), Salt Water Taffy, Big Red, coffee hard candies, 2 bottles of grape jelly and surprisingly enough, 24 cans of Welch's grape soda.

I saw the soda on the website and said 'ooo ... grape soda'.  So hubby decided that I must love the stuff.  Funnily enough, I do like it, but only about once a year because it's so sweet.  Guess I have enough soda for the next quarter of a century!
Insert wonderfully creative signature here …

You got that right!  :)

So when are we doing this, anyway, Peedal?  I've got a hankerin' for a Chimichanga and some Hersheys!!   8)

Caitlinn, my hubby does that too!  I have to be very careful about stuff like that or else I end up with tons of stuff I don't actually like to eat.  Sometimes it's just the thrill of knowing I *could* have it if I wanted to.  :)

Oh - chimichangas......the only thing that kept the menu listing outside the place from being perfect was it was missing flautas.  Now if only I could find flautas in England...

Soon, Wishstar, soon!!!   ;D

Are taquitos the same thing as flautas? If they are then Mexifresh in Sheen (near Richmond in Surrey) does them (at least they did when I went there last year!).  :)

Thanks, but they're not the same.  But I do like a good taquito as well!  So thanks for the heads-up - I'll take Mexican where I can get it!!   ;D

I've gotta ask then, what's the difference between a taquito and a flauta?  ;D

http://www.mexgrocer.com/glossary.html

Flauta: Long corn or flour tortilla filled with beef or chicken and deep fried.

Taquito: Little taco made of corn tortilla filled with meat, rolled up and fried. A small version of the flauta.

Usually, the flauta is made with the flour tortilla because they're bigger, and the taquito is made with corn.  Normally I prefer corn, but there's something about the flauta I really like!  There's more to it, as well!  ;)

Ooh, ooh, Peedal, The Texas Embassy Cantina in Trafalgar Square does flautas!!!!  :D

Check out their menu.

I've never been to the Texas Embassy Cantina so I can't vouch for the authenticity of their flautas (not that I even know what a flauta is!).  ;D

I work across the road from the TE and have to say their food is not that brilliant. Some things are better than others. Haven't had the flautas. The enchiladas are very disappointing. The tacos are OK but at £12 for 2 tuna tacos pretty overpriced. Some of their lunch specials are OK and around £5 each but not terribly authentic. I usually have their "mexi-babs" which consists of 2 skewers of chargrilled vegetables on Mexican rice with 2 salsas. Their green salsa is the best thing they have in the place it is awesome.

They do good frozen margaritas too.
