There are ppl that believe you shouldn't fuse the two practices together b/c they have different breathing and different aims. I'm a purist when it comes to pilates (am studying for certification currently), but since you've had private study, I think it's safe to say that you'll find it worthwhile, but I'm sure you will also find fault in it. I think it's whether a video will be something you'll enjoy doing again and again and if you will take the time/space to do it rather than going to a studio or gym. At least you're keeping at it!
