Friday Five!

1. Get to talk to DB tonight!   
2. Can't seem to get anything done at work because everything I need is coming from a person who is "out of the office."
3. Ran up four flights of stairs whilst at work and wasn't that winded!  Yay!
4. Having a really good self-esteem day.
5. Had plans with friends tonight but a person I can't stand invited themselves so now, I am not going.  Wouldn't be surprised if the whole get together falls apart because of this person... 

1. had a nice walk with the family this morning
2. had a nice coffee with hubs this morning
3. passed my UK life test
4. passed all my final coursework ..yay!!
5. have to work tonight but I don't care because I've had a good week!

1. Today was the end of a long stressful week.
2. Bought the same cardigan for the teenager that I bought for the ten year old last Friday so she would stop stealing it and stretching it out. 
3.  Had a mix up with the husband which meant that NO one picked the ten year old up from school today.
4. I am having McDondalds tonight despite losing more than ten pounds in the last month because I have NO will power left.
5.  I'm SOOOOOOOO happy to be meeting friends tomorrow and having a drink(or 2)

1.  only worked for 2 hours today
2.  drove with the sunroof open
3.  had a nice afternoon nap
4.  had a lovely curry
5.  ordered new furniture

1. I am sick.
2. I am tired.
3. I am hungry.
4. I am cranky.
5. *sigh* Woe is me.

1.  I have a sore throat.  Blah!

2.  I was not late to my client meeting today despite missing the train I was meant to take.

3.  There was someone who committed suicide on the motorway I was on today and they closed the motorway in the opposite direction.  We were heading the other way and the body was still there on the motorway.  I didn't actually see it though (purposely didn't look) but the taxi driver did and said it was bad.    sorry to be so morbid! 

4.  I have to study this weekend and must make up all the time I missed not studying this week!

5.  We are getting a car through our carshare membership tomorrow for the first time!  Excited!  Don't even know what we will do with it for 3 hours in/around London!

1- Hubbys payday was today --so that means shopping!
2- Found a shop in town that sells Mike and Ikes candy!!!
3- My psycho neighbors hasn't came around today!
4- Have a bit of a headache
5- Its technically Saturday as I post this

1.  Kid1 is still sick w/a horrible cold.
2.  My sinuses are clogged...I think kid1 has shared her cold w/me. 
2.  Pizza for dinner tonight...no cooking! 
3.  1yo nephew has a ruptured ear drum...I think he shared his cold w/kid1.
3.  Think I've found my perfect UK work/bus commute handbag...and it was on sale! 
4.  Going out to lunch w/some friends today! 
5.  Stacks of laundry to do...
5.  I'm wearing a shirt from my last tie-dye batch for the first time today...and it turned out sooo cute!  I tried a new method I hadn't tried before involving sprinkling dye powder on a damp shirt.  Got lots of compliments! 

(There...slightly less whiney this go round!) 

Three books I need for my classes cost $300 and I still need 7 more  .
Going out with friends tonight for the first time in weeks.
The mechanic finally showed up to work on my car after a week of not hearing from him, but still not fixed.
Five back to back CSI Miami shows.
Two hour phone call from someone special.   

Friday was...

1.  Another stressful & overworked workday - but when a client tells us how much we have helped them, it does help to compensate for the chaos (a little anyway).

2.  Went out to the pub for lunch with some work mates.  Great dodgy little pub with old geezers drunk at the bar at noon, but the food/kitchen part is run by these friendly little old ladies with everything home-cooked & you get a huge plate of food for under £3!!!

3.  Was going to go straight home after work, but friends insisted I come out after work for a quick one (or two, or...).

4.  Out for drinks after work.  Friends were gushing at me with pride that I used the words 'nowt' and 'owt' this week.  Lol!

5.  DH met up with me & we went out for Chinese at a restaurant we hadn't tried before.

1. called in sick for work tonight....told a big fat lie!!!
2. going to see my friend and baby in hospital
3. spending the night with BF
4. have to pick up a few things for a party i'm having tomorrow night
5. feeling guilty about number 1!!!

 

1.  The boy is coming home tonight!
2.  Going to see Hot Fuzz tomorrow.
3.  All the laundry is done & house cleaned.
4.  Yummy bottle of wine to drink tonight.
5.  Repeat #1!!!!! 

1. I'm really sleepy. I want to go home and take a nap!!!

2. Going out tonight, but I don't know where yet. (bf is surprising me) 

3. Found out today in class that my Biology lab practical and my mid term are going to be on the same day. 

4. Have to help chaperone a bunch of youth this afternoon, and I'm really wishing that I hadn't said I would.

5. It's been an awful, never ending week and I'm just happy that it's finally over.

1. One week from today at this exact time, I will be flying over the Atlantic to see DB! 
2. It is Friday and I am so glad the week is over.
3. Get to leave work a little early today to have my hair cut.  I am looking forward to the pampering. 
4. Had a lovely Chai this morning.  Made to perfection!
5. Been a very long week at work and it is OVER in 4 hours!  Yay!!

1.  One week from today the girls and I will finally be back in Edinburgh!

2.  Sister's kids are sick.  I get to watch the baby while she takes the one who's actually throwing up to the doctor. 

3.  The city forgot our street for trash collection yesterday...so our trash is still sitting out at the end of the driveway.  I'll have to phone them later this morning.

4.  The sun is shining!  It's a wee bit cold, but otherwise a beautiful day!

5.  Started packing the suitcases...how are we going to fit it all in?
