Physical Therapy (on a fiance visa)
« on: March 27, 2007, 05:46:23 PM »
Hello I am hoping to come over on a fiance visa and am looking at having one more surgery on my left index finger (it doesn't really move now, shattered it back in July) prior to any move. I will start PT here for it probably with a hand therapist; should I need to continue with this to get the best possible outcome is this something that is covered through the NHS on a fiance visa? Or would I need to take out additional insurance or worse just be expected to pay outright? I also am recovering from a broken tib/fib right leg (same fall) but I have the metal rod in that leg and am back on my feet doing just about everything slight of running and balancing on it (still in PT for that). Obviously this is a big concern of mine luckily my partner is a surgeon laugh, but not sure she could help me with this sort of thing! Also I'm assuming dentistry would be seperate? Am trying to get all my doctor appts in now so I'm good for a bit!

Thanks!
Angela

If your GP refers you to a physical therapist then it would be covered by the NHS.
