How does one locate a good lawyer here?
« on: February 27, 2004, 10:12:54 PM »
I'd like to get in touch with a family lawyer who could handle some pending child visitation issues.

The person who handled the divorce was not very "on the ball" so we don't want to go back to him as we got eaten alive by ex's attorney.  [Well, we got him from the yellow pages as we didn't know anybody.]

Know any good and aggressive/effective lawyers who advocate for their clients?

Pls. advise. Thanks for any referrals.

Cris, if this involves visitation issues with a parent who lives in the US, you might have to use a lawyer there.

If that's not an issue, try your local CAB (Citizen's Advice Bureau). Click: CAB in Grays for an address and phone number.

Or, try Lawyer Locator.

Good luck!

Married to Graham, we run our own open-source computer training company in beautiful Wiltshire out of our 1814 Georgian Regency home (a former lodging house and once featured in Antiques Roadshow)
