Yes! I did the old original tapes when they came out. I did it at least 3 times a week and between that and WW I lost 40 pounds! I eventually joined a gym that had the same style of class, so I hadn't done them religiously. Then I moved here and no longer had that class. I bought the Get Ripped DVD since being here, but I haven't been as motivated to do it. I think I liked the old school tapes better. I just can't get into it again. But it definitely does work! Good luck!

Billy Blanks was actually making a stop on his motivational tour at a gym in Columbia, MD. I think he was even going to teach a class! I tried to get my friend to go check it out and report back, but she wouldn't do it.  :P  I totally would have gone if I had been in the area!

I did that!  I really enjoyed doing it.  My college roommate and I did it for a bit in our effort to get fit.

For those of you that love tao bo, I have to ask,,,, Do you feel silly punching the air? I am not being flip. I tried a Body Combat class at the gym, felt absolutely ridiculous, and never went back.  :-[

I felt silly at first, but got over it. I usually used his face on the tv as my 'target'. I LOVE Body Combat!!! None of the gyms in Bath offer it.  :\\\'(

I know what you mean, Courtney. There's a Body Combat class at my gym before the Body Balance class I take and I was watching them the other day. I couldn't stop laughing! I am sure part of that was because I knew that I would be much too uncoordinated to do it!

I love Tae-Bo, but I'm always a bit scared to do it for the downstairs neighbors - it's a lot of stomping around!!  I tend to dust off my DVDs when I'm in-between gym memberships, something I've been contemplating lately.  Oh, you might just have motivated me to get off my butt today!

There is a Tae Bo class at my gym I was thinking about taking a class. but like someone else said I think I will be so uncoordinated that I cant stop myself from laughing out loud. I'm taking a aquatone classes right now as well I laugh everytime cause I'm so uncoordinated. [smiley=laugh4.gif]  but there are other ladies who are laughing as well so I'm not so self conscious about my laughing during that class. I think you should take a before an after picture. I wish now I would have taken a before picture so I have a reminder that I don't get that heavy again. when I go to the gym my routine always kicks my butt surprisingly enough I am actually enjoying going to the gym talk about a shocker.  :o

Still do it!  I love the fast paced, upbeat workout that he puts you through.  It really works all your muscles.  I have the new billy bands too for a bit of resistance, which I have just started to work with, but it makes you really sore after his workout until your body gets used to using all the muscles!!  I took a kickboxing class here in the US that actually let us spar one another.  That was by far the best, real gloves, real punches and kicks.  At home though, I don't mind punching the air, we all have someone that we can imagine we're up against!

Ooooh!  I hope I am as lucky.  I just joined WW today.  I can't seem to lose this last 15 pounds on my own.  I will be doing Tae Bo at least five days a week.  I want to be slim and trim by the hoildays.
