The date is finally set...
« on: July 19, 2007, 05:22:44 PM »
The date has been provisionally booked for 29th March in Leeds and although it doesn't mean it's set in stone, we have no reason to change the date of our wedding!!! It's the date we wanted and all we have to do now is wait for DN to get here so we can do all the paperwork side of things....YAY!!!  ;D

Apart from the fact I couldn't wait to tell everyone there is another reason for this post and that's to clarify about booking the registrar. DN and I got really confused as to whether we could actually set the date before his arrival or whether we'd have to wait for him to be here (which wouldn't have left long as he's hoping to arrive 3rd Jan). It didn't help that every time I called the registry office I didn't quite get enough information for us to be sure of what we were doing.

Anyway, thanks to some great people on here Doug was able to find out that we could provisionally book the date...we still weren't a 100% sure, but yes that is what you can do!!! So, that's what we've done, it's booked, it's booked and once again just in case you're not sure - IT'S BOOKED!!!!  ;D ;D ;D
